About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our EMEA Sales Center team at AWS EMEA SARL (Germany Branch) - H13. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud solutions for our customers in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with our leadership team to design a flexible, strong, and scalable SA team
  • Partner with the CSC team to educate customers on the value proposition of AWS and participate in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud
  • Own each engagement, helping to work towards a timely and successful delivery of customer outcomes and solutions
  • Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community
  • Create and deliver training and education sessions to widen and deepen technical and process skills for the Demand Generation team
  • Author or otherwise contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and product teams and help evolve the AWS platform

Basic Qualifications
  • Fluency in German
  • Knowledge of AWS services
  • Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in other EMEA languages
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
