Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team at Allergan Aesthetics. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's commercial strategy and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts with suppliers, partners, and customers, ensuring alignment with company goals and risk management.
  • External Counsel Management: Oversee the engagement of external counsel, ensuring quality, budget, and fee negotiations.
  • Commercial Policy Advice: Provide actionable guidance on commercial policies, focusing on European and German competition law, to ensure effective interaction with diverse customer groups.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Assist with local implementation of mergers, acquisitions, and company integration projects.
  • Legislative Monitoring: Monitor and report changes to applicable legislation impacting the organization.
  • Litigation Management: Lead and manage litigation matters to defend the company's commercial interests and support business operations.
  • Intellectual Property: Perform secondary IP work in coordination with the Corporate IP Department and international expert teams.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Provide regular reports on legal matters to the International Legal Department and manage local legal budgets, including external counsel spend.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven track record of several years of legal practice, including business support in complex environments, preferably in consumer-facing pharma and/or medical device businesses.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Antitrust Law and legal concepts.
  • Skills: Ability to develop solutions for complex business situations, hands-on attitude, cross-functional and cross-border management, structured approach, and excellent communication and influencing skills.
