Strategic People Operations Director

About the role:

As a seasoned People Operations expert, you'll develop and implement scalable processes to support our growth. Reporting initially to one Co-Founder, and later to the Director of Operations, you'll work closely with leadership to launch and manage core HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee benefits and compensation administration, HRIS management, employee data management, payroll, and leave management.
  • Manage a continuous performance management process that supports employee growth and development.
  • Support organizational design efforts, including team structure and role design, to meet evolving business needs.

This position is based at our headquarters in Berlin, Germany, with close collaboration with the U.S.-based Human Resources team.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading HR functions end-to-end, preferably in high-growth organizations.
  • A strong understanding of HR compliance, employment law, and industry best practices.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to build processes from the ground up.

We offer a competitive salary package, including an annual gross salary range for Berlin-based applicants: €80,000-90,000. Additional benefits include a bonus program, company equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
