About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Solutions Consultant to join our team at Boston Consulting Group. As a key member of our SAP practice, you will work closely with clients to design and implement innovative SAP solutions that drive business value and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients in SAP S/4 projects across the entire supply chain, from requirements analysis to solution design, implementation, testing, training, and rollout.
  • Design and define specific SAP S/4 solutions along the value chain of our clients and the required SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, TM, PS/PP, SCM, R&D, PLM, CRM, SRM, HCM,...).
  • Introduce best practices in the evaluation, specification, and implementation of user requirements, focusing on reducing one-off and maintenance costs.
  • Manage technical aspects of SAP S/4 implementation and migration projects or in specific domains.
  • Lead requirements management within SAP S/4HANA projects, including specialist concept workshops with business process managers.
  • Control and prototype customizing of SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  • Support the sale of large ERP/SAP projects by providing technical and methodological expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of the ERP/SAP S/4 content at BCG Platinion, such as participating in conferences, creating a training catalog, or writing technical articles.
Requirements
  • Above-average degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in strategic ERP/SAP projects.
  • Technical knowledge of typical end-to-end processes relevant in the ERP context (Purchase-2-Pay, Order-2-Cash, Lead-2-Quote, Record-2-Report, Hire-2-Retire, etc.) and their implementation in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Knowledge of specific SAP industry solutions (IS-U, IS-H, IS-M...), specialist SAP add-on solutions (e.g., APO/IBP, Treasury/BCM, FSCM, Transportation Management, BPC/SEM, etc.), and analytical SAP tools (e.g., SAP BW/BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Digital Boardroom, etc.).
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong client and result orientation.
  • Team spirit, communication, and presentation skills, as well as intellectual agility.
  • Ability to align individuals and organizations to a common goal.
