Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing IT components, investment goods, and consumables while adhering to public procurement regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify commercial offers and contracts
  • Maintain communication between internal departments and suppliers
  • Document procurement processes in SAP-ARIBA
  • Monitor delivery schedules
  • Conduct goods receipt inspections
  • Provide support in equipment management

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training in IT business management or a related field
  • Experience in IT component procurement and a strong technical understanding of IT hardware and software
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Reliable, detail-oriented work ethic with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of SAP systems, particularly SAP-ARIBA, and familiarity with public procurement regulations are advantageous
