Your Role: Procurement Specialist - Technology Focus

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technological advancements. You will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from sourcing materials to negotiating contracts with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate inquiries and obtain quotes from potential suppliers.
  • Manage the complete material management process, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Maintain accurate article master data, particularly focusing on pricing information.
  • Act as a liaison between suppliers, internal departments, and employees, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies and identify opportunities for process optimization within the procurement department.
  • Conduct market analysis and monitor industry trends to ensure competitive sourcing practices.
  • Negotiate favorable contract terms with suppliers, safeguarding FERCHAU's interests.
  • Independently manage procurement processes from initiation to completion.

Your Qualifications:

  • A successful degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Alternatively, a comparable vocational training with relevant practical experience in procurement.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems, such as SAP R/3 or HANA.
  • A cost-conscious and quality-oriented mindset, ensuring value for money in all procurement decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • An independent work style coupled with strong analytical abilities, commitment, and resilience to navigate complex procurement challenges.
