Job Overview

Chery Europe GmbH, a leading Chinese auto company with international presence, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join its Engineering Center in Raunheim, Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer warranty issues in the region, transferring customer feedback to engineering language and collaborating with the global engineering team for issue resolution.
  • Drive top warranty issues analysis and implement lessons learned.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product robustness, including design, engineering, and process.
  • Lead Prevention Quality/APQP management in the European Union region, including FMEA and War Room processes.
  • Owning Lessons Learned Quality in Product Line, embedding quality into new projects.
  • Developing/owning global or EU-led Product Family CTQs in the EU Product Line.
Requirements
  • A degree in Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable background.
  • Significant experience (over 3 years) in vehicle quality roles.
  • Ability to balance vehicle and system targets for regulatory compliance and high customer acceptance.
  • Willingness to travel and possess a valid European driving license.
  • Familiarity with international and intercultural environments.
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills with an open and structured mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and computer presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English; Mandarin skills advantageous.
