Transaction Banking Sales Associate

At Goldman Sachs, we're committed to helping our clients succeed in the ever-changing world of transaction banking. As a Transaction Banking Sales Associate, you'll play a key role in supporting our sales teams in researching new business opportunities, developing creative solutions for clients, and forging deep relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Transaction Banking business, working capital management, and the function of corporate treasuries
  • Assist in the creation of custom client marketing materials to deliver our value proposition
  • Organize and prepare presentations to explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to help our clients meet their goals
  • Coordinate customized pricing proposals to help quantify client opportunities
  • Gather and synthesize information on prospective and existing clients to brief internal stakeholders
  • Participate in client calls and meetings
  • Partner with stakeholders across the firm to help deliver "One Goldman Sachs" to clients
  • Develop knowledge and expertise on industry trends and the competitive landscape
Requirements:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Extremely strong analytical skills and ability to work with mass datasets
  • Passion and natural curiosity for the financial services industry and a desire to build knowledge of our business and clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and think clearly under pressure
  • Self-motivated and ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to juggle changing priorities and a varied workload associated with a tech start-up
  • Commitment to excellence and a high level of integrity
  • Bachelor's Degree required
