About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Protection Specialist to join our team at MOIA Operations Germany GmbH. As a Data Protection Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the rechtskonforme Verarbeitung of personenbezogenen Daten in our company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of Verarbeitungsverzeichnisse, taking into account new technologies and business processes.
  • Analyze and evaluate Datenschutzrisiken associated with the use of data in software development and other projects.
  • Support the implementation of measures to protect employee and customer data, including the creation of Datenschutzkonzepte and the conduct of training sessions.
  • Provide expert advice to our teams on all matters related to Datenschutzrecht.
  • Support the conduct of Datenschutzfolgeabschätzungen (DSFA).
  • Maintain and manage our documentation and processes in our DSMS.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our working processes through the use of tools such as JIRA and Slack.

Requirements

  • Abgeschlossenes Erstes Juristisches Staatsexamen and a strong interest in Datenschutzrecht.
  • First-hand knowledge of Datenschutzrecht.
  • Experience working with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Slack is an asset.
  • Experience in software development projects and a good understanding of the specific Datenschutzrechtliche questionnaires that arise from this.
  • Secure Deutsch- and Englischkenntnisse in Wort and Schrift.
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office.
  • Lösungsorientierung and a good understanding of complex relationships.
  • Strukturierte, eigenverantwortliche, and teamorientierte Arbeitsweise.
