Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer HVAC to join our team in Germany. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and executing industrial projects, with a focus on HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Elaborate technical deliverables, including specifications, equipment datasheets, hydraulic diagrams, and equipment layouts.
- Supply engineering data systematically to other engineering disciplines, including Civil & Structures, Process, Clean Utilities, and Mechanical & Piping.
- Manage spatial coordination of process equipment and pipelines on project layouts and 3D models, in collaboration with the Draft & Design team.
- Delegate and supervise IPS back-office staff in performing detailed design and 3D modeling.
- Support project management teams during procurement activities with technical expertise.
- Author and supervise contracts during the realization phase.
- Respect project budgets and deadlines.
- Report to Project Manager and Engineering Manager.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant experience with dimensioning utility installations, from analysis and design to procurement and realization.
- Fluency in English and German.
- Open to mobility in Germany.
- Experience in feasibility projects.
- Expertise in sustainable solutions and experience with other building utilities (fire protection, drains/sewage, electrics) are a plus.
- Software knowledge: Microsoft Office, HAP, AutoCAD (REVIT MEP is a plus).
- Team player with good communication skills and ability to supervise and instruct others.
- Assertive, flexible, and creative thinker.
