As a Sr. Mechanical Systems Manager with Mane Contract Services, you will be responsible for overseeing site operations to ensure safety, quality, and project schedules are met.

You will manage costs, subcontractors, and materials, while coordinating closely with the project team, client, and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Management: Oversee all mechanical systems within your scope.
  • Site Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols in collaboration with the project manager and safety advisor, including managing the safety file.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage site QA processes alongside the QA manager, ensuring proper documentation and closeout.
  • Project Schedule: Align project schedules with client and consultant requirements.
  • Cost Management: Monitor expenses, including subcontractor costs, materials, equipment, variations, and valuations.
  • Operations Oversight: Manage daily site activities, subcontractor performance, and progress against schedules, holding regular progress meetings.
  • Snagging: Implement the snagging process and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Reporting: Provide weekly reports on costs, progress, risks, and delays to the project team and management.
  • Meetings & Coordination: Attend all relevant site and project meetings, contributing to planning and handover.
  • Project Closeout: Finalize all aspects of the project, including accounts, documentation, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with a recognized mechanical/electrical contractor in process mechanical/pipework.
  • Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and IT systems.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong communication skills and initiative.
  • Knowledge of modular construction methods.
