Social Pedagogy Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Pedagogy Specialist to join our team at Die Kolping Akademie. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing social pedagogy support to students, ensuring a consistent and continuous point of contact for them.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a mobile youth work program to provide social pedagogy and educational support to students as needed.
• Hold regular, scheduled meetings with students outside of class time to provide individual support and guidance.
• Collaborate with teachers, class leaders, and other school staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system for students.
• Develop and implement social pedagogy transition plans to support students' transition to other support services.
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences and other meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration with parents and guardians.
• Work closely with the school's administration and staff to ensure a smooth and effective support system for students.

Your Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in social pedagogy, including a relevant degree or equivalent experience. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
