Social Pedagogy Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Pedagogy Specialist to join our team at Die Kolping Akademie. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing consistent and continuous support to students on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver mobile youth work to offer social and educational assistance in case of school refusal
• Establish regular office hours outside of school hours to provide individual support as needed
• Participate in school dialogues with parents or legal guardians to ensure effective communication
• Collaborate closely with class teachers, educators, and school support staff to provide comprehensive support
• Manage social-pedagogical handovers to local school social work

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

• Qualified social pedagogical care professional with relevant completed studies or recognized educators - youth/residential care, therapeutic education therapists
