Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer:in as Future Construction Supervisor (w/m/d) for DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH at our locations in Dortmund, Duisburg, Neuss, or Wesel. Your Responsibilities:
  • Unlimited construction sites - you will implement new and expansion projects in the infrastructure sector
  • You will exchange your desk and office chair for a helmet and high-visibility vest and gain an overview of the construction progress on the construction site and coordinate the contractors and construction participants according to the type, time, and place of performance on site
  • With our digital construction diary, you will take over the documentation and reporting of construction progress, deviations, and incidents. Your professional knowledge will help you develop measures to prevent overtime
  • Safety first - you will ensure a safe railway operation during and after the construction measures and ensure the compliance with occupational safety and accident prevention on site
  • You will lead the meetings in a team of planning and construction partners, both virtually and on site
  • You will be responsible for controlling and documenting the construction process as well as releasing invoices and overtime inspections
  • You will create presentations independently - of course, you will prepare the necessary data and visualize it attractively
Your Profile:
  • A successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering is the entrance ticket to our company
  • You are willing to acquire a vocational training as a construction supervisor in the railway sector within our qualification program, so that you can gradually take on the responsible tasks
  • New techniques, such as digital terrain models, BIM plans, and the use of digital workflows, do not discourage you, but make your heart beat faster
  • You are curious and interested in new trends and digital topics, and you also inspire your colleagues and support them with questions and problems
  • In order for you and others not to come to harm, unrestricted physical fitness is required
  • To get to the construction site, you need a valid class B driving license
  • You are good at communicating your position and have a desire to take on responsibility
