Job Summary
Avery Dennison Smartrac is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician - Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the operation, testing, maintenance, and repairing of all electrical and mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including coating machines and cutting machines.
- Identify and troubleshoot errors in the production process, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor the function of all controls and process control systems throughout the company.
- Support spare parts management by documenting replaced components.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement business-related projects.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a mechatronics engineer, industrial electronics engineer, or comparable training.
- Knowledge in the areas of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, and electrics.
- Experience in the maintenance and servicing of industrial machinery, preferably with knowledge of electro-/pneumatic controls and PLC programming.
- Fluent knowledge of German.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and digitalization.
- Willingness to work shifts.
