About the Role

Deloitte Luxembourg is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our Private Tax Services team. As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the relationship with your clients, handling day-to-day bookkeeping activities, preparing financial statements and periodic reports, and calculating tax provisions and preparing direct tax returns.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship with your clients as their central point of contact
  • Handle all day-to-day bookkeeping activities for your clients
  • Prepare financial statements and periodic reports
  • Prepare periodic and yearly VAT returns
  • Calculate tax provisions and prepare direct tax returns
  • Share your experience while advising your clients on their specific financial queries
  • Work on new technology solutions in order to improve your clients' operating models
  • Liaise with clients' management, finance teams and auditors
  • Develop new business opportunities

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tax Manager who has a strong knowledge of accounting, income tax and VAT rules and principles. You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics and at least 8 years of relevant experience in a fiduciary or service provider firm. You should also have a previous experience in managing and coaching a team and be fluent in French, with proficiency in English and Luxembourgish and/or German being an asset.
