Position Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and client-oriented Solution Engineer to become a vital part of our collaborative team. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert, assisting sales teams in effectively positioning the KONUX system with our customers and partners. Your insights will contribute to the evolution of our product roadmap and feature specifications, drawing from a profound understanding of customer needs, industry dynamics, and product capabilities. You will collaborate closely with Customer Success, product, and engineering teams to optimally present our product and vision to our clients. By leveraging your comprehensive understanding of customer operations, including maintenance practices and their impact on service availability, you will establish yourself as a trusted technical advisor for both the customer and KONUX. Our goal is to develop the premier predictive maintenance solution for our railway clients, delivering cutting-edge technology, support, and service that exceed client expectations. This position offers the flexibility of remote work.

Your Contributions:
  • Oversee the planning, management, and execution of customer pilot programs, demonstrating transformative value to build technical trust with clients.
  • Identify and analyze customer challenges and requirements.
  • Develop relationships with technical decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
  • Recognize commonalities in customer processes and tools to enhance the KONUX product value proposition, creating a unified transformative system for the rail sector.
  • Support internal business development, pre-sales initiatives, and sales efforts with your expertise on current and future products.
Qualifications for Success:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanics, physics, and data processing and analysis is essential.
  • 2-5 years of practical technical experience in the rail industry, ideally with a focus on railway infrastructure.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment that is transforming an industry.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with industry experts, partners, and strategic stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to field locations at least two days per week.
  • Fluency in German (C2/1) and proficiency in English (C1) is required for this position.
