At Cofinity-X GmbH, we're seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our software applications.

**Your Mission:**

* Design, develop, and execute test cases for various software applications, with a focus on both manual and automated testing
* Perform functional, regression, sanity, system, and End-to-End testing
* Develop and execute automated test scripts using frameworks like Cucumber, BDD, Rest-Assured, and web automation tools such as Cypress and Playwright
* Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
* Collaborate with developers to resolve issues, improve software quality
* Review and analyze system specifications, user stories
* Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, automated test suites, and manual test executions where applicable
* Document test results and report on testing progress, including automated test coverage
* Ensure test coverage and traceability of test cases to requirements
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers
* Provide feedback on the quality of the product and suggest improvements
* Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings

**Your Profile:**

* Educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
* Proven experience in both manual and automated software testing
* Proficiency in testing techniques, manual testing tools, and automation frameworks
* Hands-on experience with APIs & web test automation tools and frameworks such as Rest-Assured, Cucumber, BDD, Cypress, and Playwright
* Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray)
* Strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring product quality
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within these pipelines would be a plus
