About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Guest Service Manager to lead our Front Office team at The Hoxton in Charlottenburg, Berlin. As a key member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the Front Office team to deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable experiences for our guests.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, including front desk, reservations, and guest services.
  • Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and data to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of the hotel's business plan and budget.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Fluency in German and English, with additional languages a plus.
  • Knowledge of front desk operating systems, such as Micros Fidelio Opera, and GDS systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
