Project Manager Reconnaissance Vehicles Specialist

About the Role

HENSOLDT Optronics GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in the "Reconnaissance Vehicles" area. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation of offers and the implementation of customer projects from project planning to series production.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the acquisition of projects and create concepts, user specifications, and offers.
  • Support customers in creating system requirements and handle international projects within the agreed time, cost, and performance framework.
  • Implement systematic project planning and project tracking, leading project teams and managing subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners and customers, conducting presentations within HENSOLDT and externally to customers and suppliers.
  • Derive new products from technical possibilities, customer requirements, and market developments, and clarify technical implementations.
  • Develop product life cycles and suitable service and logistics concepts, and prepare analyses of marketing alternatives and competitor products.

Your Profile

  • Completed engineering degree in physics, electrical engineering, precision engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in the management and processing of (international) projects, with experience/knowledge in the management of project teams.
  • Good PC skills (MS Office, SAP R3), planning skills, a confident manner, and the ability to work in a team.
  • Results-oriented, structured, and cooperative way of working, with a high degree of flexibility.
  • Fluent German and good English skills.
