We're looking for a skilled RD&A Senior Technologist to join our team at Kerry. In this role, you'll work on developing innovative snack seasonings driven by consumer taste preferences and nutritional targets.

The successful candidate will be based in our Frankfurt Central European Business Unit Hub and report directly to the Snack RD&A Manager. This role will be part of The Savoury Snacks and Dry Culinary RDA team.

Our team is responsible for creating cost-competitive snack seasonings using top note and flavor knowledge. As a Senior Technologist, you'll work closely with our customers to develop custom solutions that meet their business and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing customer-centric snack seasoning solutions using technical expertise and market knowledge.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and managing customer opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Staying up-to-date with market trends, regulations, and customer requirements to inform development of new snack seasonings.
  • Collaborating with our Flavour Technology and Culinary Foundations team to develop new flavor profiles and seasonings.
  • Leading the development of new snack seasonings from concept to commercialization, working closely with operations teams to ensure efficient manufacturing.
  • Applying knowledge of Kerry's technologies to develop innovative snack seasonings that meet customer needs.
  • Working independently to manage projects, liaise with account managers, and ensure timely delivery of results.
  • Ensuring the development of cost-effective snack seasoning formulas that provide value to our customers.
  • Understanding and utilizing our systems, including Salesforce, Optiva, MDG, and SAP, to manage projects and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Mentoring and developing internal talent to align with organizational objectives.

Requirements:

  • BSc in Food Science or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in the snack industry.
  • Expertise in top note development for savory applications.
  • Customer-facing experience and strong project management skills.
  • Experience in evaluating ingredients in food applications and developing novel solutions.
  • Strong innovation skills and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication and knowledge-sharing abilities.
