Job Description

As a Train Architect (f/m/d), you will develop new vehicle concepts and vehicle platforms with a focus on standardised, manufacturing and life cycle cost-optimised vehicle architectures.

You will drive the technical and functional maintenance and further develop existing vehicle platforms in coordination with the platform management.

You will ensure the use of the platform solution portfolio within the scope of bid preparation and project management of adaptation projects.

You will support the Technical Bid Manager and the Technical Manager in bids, projects and in the processing of R&D projects.

Requirements

• You have completed a master's degree in rail vehicle technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
• You have many years of professional experience in rail vehicle construction and engineering.
• You have in-depth knowledge of the interaction of the individual trades in the vehicle as an entity and know the operational requirements of rail vehicles.
• You are experienced in coordinating with international, cross-site teams and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• You have acquired project management skills and are used to working in a field with distributed responsibilities.
• Business fluent German and English skills are a matter of course for you.
