SCADA Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced IT and OT Team Lead to join our Offshore Engineering department as a SCADA Team Lead. In this position, you will be responsible for leading a team of around 12 employees, providing disciplinary and professional leadership, and driving the development of the team based on departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the international SCADA, IT & OT team, providing disciplinary and professional leadership to team members, possibly in different jurisdictions.
- Drive the development of the team based on departmental goals, and take responsibility for the technical development of the team.
- Develop and implement plans to increase team capabilities, standardize and harmonize processes and approaches across the project portfolio.
- Create resource plans for the team, considering current and future offshore projects, and continuously develop these plans.
- Develop employees according to individual capabilities and career plans, as well as business and project needs.
- Constantly exchange with other team leads and management of the organizational unit.
- Support employees in project work and provide active troubleshooting if necessary.
- You have successfully completed an academic degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or a comparable field of study. Alternatively, you possess a comparable qualification acquired through several years of relevant professional experience.
- You have several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned area of responsibility.
- You have a broad and good understanding of various components and systems of control technology, automation technology, information technology, IT/OT security, and communication systems such as e.g. mobile communications/5G.
- Ideally, you have already gained initial leadership experience, perhaps even deepened by training or further education.
- You are characterized by good communication skills, persuasiveness, and assertiveness in German and English, as well as your friendly and confident manner.
- You like to work both on your own responsibility and in a team, you are used to a high pace of work, and still always keep an overview.
