The Role: International Tax Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Tax Manager to join our growing finance team in Berlin. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring tax compliance across our international operations while developing and implementing effective tax strategies.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead complex tax projects related to VAT, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, and risk management.
- Oversee the corporate income tax compliance process for all sennder entities, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Manage documentation for global transfer pricing transactions, collaborating with our central team.
- Contribute to automation initiatives within the corporate income tax and transfer pricing functions.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments and external advisors (Big4).
- Assist in managing income tax audits and ensuring a smooth resolution process.
Your Profile:
- 5+ years of proven experience in international taxation, ideally within a Big 4 firm or a multinational corporation.
- Strong academic background in Accounting, Tax, or Finance with relevant tax qualifications preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential; German language skills are a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex tax concepts clearly and concisely.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach and a passion for continuous learning.
