The Role: International Tax Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced International Tax Manager to join our growing finance team in Berlin. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring tax compliance across our international operations while developing and implementing effective tax strategies.
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead complex tax projects related to VAT, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, and tax risk management.
- Oversee the corporate income tax compliance process for all sennder entities, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage documentation for global transfer pricing transactions, collaborating with our central team.
- Contribute to automation initiatives for corporate income tax and transfer pricing processes.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments and external advisors (Big4).
- Assist in managing income tax audits and ensuring a smooth resolution process.
Your Profile:
- 5+ years of proven experience in international taxation, ideally gained within a Big 4 firm or a multinational corporation.
- Strong understanding of VAT, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, and other relevant tax regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax (specific tax qualifications are a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
- Fluent English; German language proficiency is an advantage.
