Logistics Sales Professional

A key principle of our corporate philosophy is building strong customer relationships. As a Sales Executive, you will develop comprehensive and tailored transportation solutions for our major customers in land transport, air and sea freight, and contract logistics. Your responsibilities will span from acquiring new customers to expanding existing business, providing support to our customers from a single source.
Job Responsibilities:- Acquire new customers and expand existing customer base in a defined sales area
- Create, process, and coordinate offers and tenders in collaboration with respective departments
- Ensure documentation of all sales activities and business potential, progress, and success in the CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Collaborate with support functions and operational units
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and social media
- Completed commercial training, preferably as a freight forwarding and logistics services clerk with relevant additional qualifications or further training
- At least 3 years of professional experience in field sales in the logistics industry
- Product and market knowledge in air and sea freight
- Market and competitive knowledge in your own sales area desirable
- Confident handling of common MS Office applications and experience with CRM systems
- Very good knowledge of German and good English, both spoken and written
- Team-oriented, yet independent, very structured working style
- Negotiation skills and persuasiveness with a high degree of customer and solution orientation
- Good presentation skills combined with a confident and authoritative demeanor
