About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Verification and Certification Specialist to join our team at OSB AG. As a key member of our Propulsion IPT, you will be responsible for the development and verification of our propulsion systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement verification and validation plans for propulsion systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define and execute verification and validation activities
- Author and execute test plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Manage requirements throughout their lifecycle and ensure complete verification
- Negotiate with certification authorities to define Means of Compliance and qualification activities
- Develop and maintain certification strategies and compliance reports
- Generate and manage the Propulsion system V&V plan
Requirements
- University degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (MSc/M.Eng preferred)
- Relevant professional experience in the aerospace industry, preferably in propulsion system development and verification
- Experience in planning, developing, and managing verification and validation activities
- Hands-on experience in defining and executing propulsion test activities
- Excellent understanding of general design principles and related functional topics
- Awareness of Part 21J contents and requirements
- Fluent English and German language skills
