We are seeking a highly skilled Radar Solutions Development Engineer to join our team at Qorvo. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of radar systems, including antennas, RF front-ends, and signal processing algorithms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to engineering teams, ensuring that radar technologies meet industry standards and are integrated effectively into semiconductor solutions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IC designers, software developers, and system engineers, to ensure seamless integration of radar technology in product designs.
- Product Development: Contribute to the full lifecycle of product development, from concept through production, ensuring that radar technologies are effectively integrated.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure all radar technology solutions comply with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior engineers and provide training to team members on radar technology and related areas.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a focus on radar technology and/or RF systems.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in radar system design, development, and integration within the semiconductor industry.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of radar principles, including wave propagation, signal reflection, and radar cross-section.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work on complex, interdisciplinary projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in automotive radar (e.g., ADAS) or millimeter-wave radar systems or UWB radar.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques as applied to radar signal processing.
- Publications or patents in the field of radar technology.
