Job Title: Forwarding Manager Road

At Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forwarding Manager Road to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the technical and disciplinary aspects of our national and international general cargo operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the operational team in the area of national and international general cargo, ensuring efficient and reliable transportation of goods.
  • Develop and implement optimization approaches to improve the efficiency and profitability of our network transports.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of processes within our continuous improvement process concept.
  • Ensure the quality and profitability of our general cargo system transports at the location.
  • Support the training and development of new employees and existing team members.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Administration departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Negotiate and maintain partnerships with national and international partners.
  • Develop and maintain cooperation with central Head Office departments.
Your Profile:
  • Commercial apprenticeship and several years of professional experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Additional qualification in logistics or business administration is an asset.
  • Experience in managing operational processes using key performance indicator systems.
  • Several years of professional experience in general cargo system transportation and knowledge of general cargo processes and corresponding QM systems.
  • Experience in employee management and leadership.
  • Knowledge of customs and third countries is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Good written and spoken English and IT skills in TMS.
