Nitrocellulose Production Specialist

We are seeking a motivated Nitrocellulose Operator to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment using process control systems and onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation
- Ensure highest safety standards for people, environment, and equipment
- Perform basic cleaning and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime
- Document process parameters to support quality and efficiency initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Requirements:
- Technical training in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering or process technology
- Knowledge of occupational safety and process safety principles
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing production schedules
- Strong understanding of process technology and chemical processes
- Proficient in IT applications, including MS Office and SAP
- Basic knowledge of English and ability to learn company-specific systems
- Experience in plant operations is an asset
