Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled European Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance across Europe and providing expert tax advice to our senior management team.
Key Responsibilities- Quarterly tax calculations and reviews, including tax provision and deferred tax
- Tax return true-up and transfer pricing calculations
- Group reporting, including Forms 5471 and Subpart F, APB 23, and Fin 48
- Withholding taxes and tax audit assistance
- Point of contact for VP Tax and Tax Director
- Ensure tax compliance across Europe and SOX compliance for Tax
- Tax research and self-initiated updates to new/revised European tax law
- M&A tax analysis and advice
- Integration of newly acquired groups in Europe
- Other tax projects
- CTA and/or ADIT qualification or equivalent degree
- 10 years of experience in a similar position in an international group
- Advanced technical tax knowledge, including corporate income taxes, property taxes, sales and use taxes, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing rules
- Problem-solving skills and ability to make clear, consistent, and transparent decisions
- Research skills and working knowledge of online tax research tools
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and highly motivated to accomplish desired goals
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and fulfill commitments to heavy tax filings and accounting closing deadlines
- Analysis and communication skills, including ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Leadership skills and ability to influence and mentor others
- Software proficiency in Microsoft software environment and familiarity with SAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- US GAAP a plus
This is a full-time position located in Europe, with hybrid working possible in the role.
