Sales Manager

Main Responsibilities:

The Sales Leader will be responsible for developing and managing their own pipeline with targets to grow Afinitas Equipment and Automation market presence, margin, profits, and reputation within the Rest of World markets.

This role involves both external and internal work to identify opportunities to strengthen E&A’s overall value proposition and monitoring the current sales funnel to develop strategies and metrics for future growth.

Key Functions:

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the E&A product line capabilities and services to establish a compelling customer-specific value-added solution through an inquisitive and consultative selling process to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations.
• Cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with customers, delivering product information and insights to address their needs and increase sales potential.
• Collaborate with the VP Sales to create and execute regional and territory plans for product lines, ensuring targeted outreach to existing and potential customers.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities with existing customers and new potential customers, understand their needs and problems, develop a tailored solution, and build trust that Afinitas is a trusted long-term supplier.
• Secure new machinery orders for specified divisional products in assigned territories, focusing on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Support and utilize the Customer Resource Management system to maintain accurate records of all contacts, activity reports, opportunities, and competitive information for customers and prospects.
• Identify and develop market potential not currently pursued or fully engaged with but within the company’s core competencies.
• Facilitate product demonstrations and provide assistance in identifying and qualifying opportunities.
• Effectively make recommendations concerning market trends, competitive products, and pricing.
• Maintain awareness of competitive and customer activity, customer needs, and communicate information to relevant individuals within the company to increase the company’s competitive edge in the marketplace.
• Provide detailed information regarding customer requirements, specifications, applications, and other customer needs to produce accurate and timely sales proposals.
• Promote the availability of company services, such as spare parts, training, and field service, to customers to increase sales.
• Record and report on all phases of activities as required.
