About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Environmental Consultant to join our Sustainable Finance team in Frankfurt/Main. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the success of our projects by working collaboratively with colleagues and building trust-based working relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake Independent Environmental and Social Due Diligence and Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) in accordance with International Standards
  • Project Management
  • Support in the preparation of proposals (content and commercial) as well as support of the entire acquisition process
  • Provide advice and project support through effective communication with clients (banks, developers, contractors, international lenders and/or corporate clients)
  • Contribute to creating a safe working environment for staff, sub-contractors and clients.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in conducting Due Diligence and undertaking ESIA in line with international environmental and social standards. You should have excellent report writing skills in English and German, strong communication skills and the ability to work in English, German and preferably another language. Project management skills in the above described technical areas are also essential. You will be available to travel internationally (around 20%).
