About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Translation Project Coordinator to support our Corporate Content Translation Service Team at SAP's Language Experience (LX) unit. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced project managers and translators to ensure the smooth execution of multilingual translation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers in managing a wide range of multilingual translation and multimedia projects.
  • Collaborate with translators to ensure timely and accurate delivery of translation projects.
  • Support the team in exploring and implementing innovative translation technologies, including machine translation and artificial intelligence tools.
  • Participate in strategic projects related to the team's migration to a new cloud-based tool landscape.
  • Assist in configuring the new tool landscape and troubleshooting tool-related issues.
  • Create and update internal process and tool documentation to enhance team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives that will shape future processes and technology within our department.

Requirements

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences.
  • Experience with standard translation tools, such as Trados Studio, XTM, regex skills a bonus.
  • Fluency in English is a must, fluency in German is preferred, knowledge of an additional language will be seen as a plus.
  • Strong team spirit, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ability to work with a set timeline, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Open mindset for learning and applying new technologies, high level of responsibility when it comes to working with confidential translation projects.
