About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team at Connecting Experts. As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will play a key role in driving process improvements and implementing operational excellence initiatives across our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Operational Excellence Plans: Create and execute operational excellence plans that align with our company's objectives and standards.
- Collaborate with Global Operational Director: Work closely with the Global Operational Director to ensure regional projects are aligned with global goals and objectives.
- Identify and Assess Areas for Improvement: Determine and assess areas that require improvement, and work with local teams to implement changes.
- Lead Continuous Improvement Projects: Oversee projects for continuous improvement using techniques such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Lean.
- Train and Mentor Local Teams: Teach and mentor local teams in operational excellence techniques and best practices.
- Conduct Workshops and Training Sessions: Hold workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of continuous improvement and development.
- Monitor and Evaluate Project Progress: Track and evaluate the progress of improvement projects and make adjustments as needed.
- Provide Status Reports: Provide regular status reports to the Global Operational Director on operational excellence programs.
- Build Relationships with Key Stakeholders: Develop strong relationships with plant managers and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of changes.
- Lead Multidisciplinary Project Teams: Oversee and direct multidisciplinary project teams to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, Problem Solving) is an asset.
- Language Proficiency: English and German language proficiency is required; additional language proficiency is an asset.
- Experience: Extensive experience in operational excellence or continuous improvement roles, preferably in a regional or managing capacity.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, outstanding communication and leadership skills, and expertise in continuous improvement methods and tools.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to German sites as required.
