EHS Manager Wind & Solar Sector Job Description

Randstad Professionals Italia is seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager to join our team in Hamburg, Germany.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Management Systems within the company. This includes providing regular updates on risk factors, developing preventive measures, and coordinating activities with various departments and external consultants.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS management, with experience in the wind and solar energy sector. They will also possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team.

The role involves frequent travel within Germany and occasional visits to other European countries. The successful candidate will be offered a permanent position with a competitive remuneration package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Management Systems
  • Provide regular updates on risk factors and develop preventive measures
  • Coordinate activities with various departments and external consultants
  • Manage investigation processes related to EHS incidents
  • Coordinate EHS contractors' management and perform site audits and inspections
  • Participate in regular meetings with global and local functions to discuss EHS needs

Requirements:

  • Qualification for IMS audits (according to ISO 19011)
  • NEBOSH Diploma or H&S degree | IEMA/NEBOSH Environmental training – or equivalent
  • Experience in wind and solar energy sector
  • Experience in managing safety compliance with Construction sites legislation (Baustell V)
  • Professional knowledge of English
