Compliance Vice President

As a Horizontal Compliance Risk Manager, Vice President, you will provide support and advice on the consistent implementation of regulatory requirements, including KWG, MaRisk, and MaComp, across all SSBI branches. You will also support the organizational design and compliance governance, as well as the implementation of regulatory changes. Additionally, you will provide training on upcoming regulations and advice on existing regulatory frameworks.

- Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills
- Aptitude to work both independently and collaboratively, manage multiple simultaneous tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
- Fully qualified German lawyer or comparable education
- Minimum 9+ years' experience in financial services, preferably within a compliance function, legal department, or advisory/audit firm
- Strong understanding of policies, procedures, and controls
- Excellent recognized subject matter expert understanding of German and European requirements, including KWG, MaRisk, MaComp, MiFID, MAR, SFDR, SFTR, and other applicable laws, rules, and regulations
