Mechanic as Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our team as a Senior Mechanic. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the organization and execution of maintenance and repair activities for industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance and repair activities for industrial equipment and machinery.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Supervise and train junior technicians and mechanics to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues and develop corrective actions to prevent equipment failure.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance data.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with a focus on mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing maintenance teams.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, and conveyor systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
