Procurement and Logistics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Logistics Specialist to join our team at AMEX. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of containers for the EU market, managing the end-to-end procurement process, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement and Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the movement of containers for the EU market, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Procurement Process Management: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing and negotiating with vendors, to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and implement solutions to drive business growth.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with vendor partners, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Market Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and product improvement.
- Operational Excellence: Design and implement operating models that drive business growth and improve efficiency.
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of success.
- Language Skills: English and German (B2 minimum) language fluency, both verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and identify the root cause of a problem and clearly translate to the relevant parties enabling a quick solution.
- Communication Skills: Engaging communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect, influence, and negotiate with vendors.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- IT System Knowledge: Strong IT system and application knowledge, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
