Proclinical is currently looking for a proactive Logistics Specialist to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and play a vital role in managing logistical processes to ensure smooth project delivery. This opportunity is perfect for individuals with a solid background in logistics, supply chain management, and operations in an engineering consultancy or similar setting.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all logistics operations, including procurement, transportation, and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels, oversee stock replenishment, and ensure timely availability of materials.
- Establish relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance for cost-effective services.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to provide logistics support throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs procedures and import/export laws.
- Analyze logistics data, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Control logistics costs, prepare budgets, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance logistics processes to increase efficiency.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English and German, with Arabic as a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
