Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software architecture, evaluating and choosing state-of-the-art technologies, and creating comprehensive unit tests for high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement software architecture for our intelligent software solutions
- Evaluate and choose state-of-the-art technologies, tools, and libraries to improve our software development workflow
- Create comprehensive unit tests for high-quality software
- Design and implement new intelligent features and constant code refactoring
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Project Management teams to deliver agile software development
Requirements
- University degree in computer sciences, mathematics, or a similar field
- Comprehensive professional experience in Java and Kotlin development, as well as REST API development
- Experience in continuous integration and use of relevant tools such as GitLab, Gradle, and Jira
- Experience in Angular and React-Frontends
- Good knowledge of software deployment, e.g., Debian packages, Docker containers, and Kubernetes
- Practical experience with standard agile methods such as SCRUM and Kanban
- Strong communication skills in English and preferably also in German
