About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a technical subject matter expert, you'll work closely with our customers to design and deliver deployments of Open-Xchange OX App Suite and Dovecot Pro. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goal of connecting the world and millions of people through open-source technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess constraints and requirements, discuss technical challenges, and create joint solutions.
  • Work out architecture and high-level design, and further define cross-system integrations and data flows.
  • Work with customers to deploy our products and launch new platforms.
  • Communicate with customers and partners to manage and develop technical relationships.
  • Act as a liaison between the Open-Xchange company and our customers, managing internal processes and collaborating with various teams to achieve mutual success.
Requirements
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and a strong background in human interactions in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Proficiency in the must-haves and a willingness to learn the nice-to-have technologies listed in the tech stack above.
  • Effective communication skills in English and German, both verbally and in writing, across all levels in a company.
  • A team player with a passion for sharing knowledge and learning from others.
  • Able to work in an environment without a formal hierarchy and take ownership of your work.
  • Motivated and creative, with a passion for connecting the world through Open Source technology and promoting digital sovereignty.
