Senior Network Architect

**Job Description:**

Rochus Mummert digital GmbH, a leading digital solutions provider, is seeking a highly skilled **Senior Network Architect** to join its team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a performant, secure, and scalable network infrastructure.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement reliable network architectures to support the company's growing digital presence.
  • Evaluate new technological approaches to stay ahead of the curve and ensure the company's network infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
  • Maintain and optimize the existing network infrastructure, including LAN, WLAN, and WAN components.
  • Adapt network components to new requirements, such as Software Defined Networking or Cloud Infrastructures, to ensure seamless integration and scalability.
  • Monitor and assess network risks, ensuring the company's network infrastructure is secure and prepared for any potential disasters.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in architecting complex networks, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience with Cisco components, preferably with Cisco certification.
  • Independent, solution-oriented work ethic, with leadership experience a plus.
  • Fluent in German and excellent English skills.
