Operations Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Operations Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Road Transit Hub Nürnberg. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated material flow system and building services in our logistics center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our automated material flow system and building services
- Conduct troubleshooting and fault-finding to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure high availability of technical systems
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on driven conveyor systems and measurement and weighing technology for packages and freight
- Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to improve system availability
Requirements:
- Completed (recognized by the IHK) vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician (m/w/d), Electrician (m/w/d) or equivalent qualification
- Good knowledge of building and technical services
- Proficient in the use of PCs
- Experience in troubleshooting and fault-finding on automated conveyor systems and building services
- High level of responsibility and attention to detail
- Willingness to work in shift work and on-call duty
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in performing electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on driven conveyor systems and measurement and weighing technology for packages and freight
- Experience in performing LoTo procedures for maintenance activities
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis of system failures to ensure high system availability
- Knowledge of SPS-based control systems
- Experience in managing external contractors
- Basic English language skills
