Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team on the Logos Hope, a floating bookfair and humanitarian project. As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing medical care to our crew and guests, as well as maintaining the clinic and its equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide medical care to crew and guests, including administering vaccinations and medications
  • Run the clinic together with the Medical Officer, ensuring it is well-stocked and equipped
  • Document patient records and maintain accurate medical records
  • Conduct monthly maintenance and first aid kit checks
  • Manage drug inventory and ensure proper storage and disposal
  • Ensure the clinic is safe and secure, including putting out seasick medication and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
  • Coordinate the duty medical schedule for each month
  • Participate in on-call duty medical staff and be part of the Control team

Requirements

  • Previous work experience in a hospital or doctor's practice
  • Completed an apprenticeship or degree in nursing
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
