Job Summary

The Logos Hope is a floating bookfair and education center that travels the world, sharing the love of God and promoting literacy and education. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary School Teacher to join our team on board the Logos Hope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective learning opportunities for children on board the Logos Hope, working collaboratively with other teachers and staff.
  • Develop and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans, taking into account the diverse needs and abilities of our students.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education programs and initiatives on board the Logos Hope.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.

Requirements

  • Current, official teaching qualification and experience working with children.
  • Ability to teach mixed-age groups and adapt to different teaching contexts.
  • Flexibility to work with different classes and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and a positive attitude.
