Electrical Engineering Thesis: Integration of Salt Battery into UPS System

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled electrical engineering student to complete their final thesis with us at AEG Power Solutions.

Project Overview

The project involves the integration of a Salt Battery (SMC) into an existing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system. The SMC battery is a non-flammable, toxic-free, and 100% recyclable alternative to traditional Lead Acid or Nickel Cadmium batteries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the integration of the SMC battery into the UPS system
  • Develop a bus coupling to the communication module of the UPS and forward data to an existing display
  • Design a parallel HUB for the operation of multiple modules
  • Conduct a thorough analysis and verification of the system
