Bachelor/Master Thesis: Integration of a Salt Battery into an Uninterruptable Power Supply

At AEG Power Solutions, we are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to complete their final thesis with us. This exciting opportunity will allow you to apply your theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting and contribute to the development of innovative energy storage solutions.

Our team is working on the integration of a Salt Battery (SMC) into an existing Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) structure and system. The thesis will focus on addressing the technical challenges associated with this integration, including the bus coupling to the communication module of the UPS and the forwarding of data to an existing display.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior staff and implement their thesis in our laboratory in cooperation with the university. This project offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in the field of power electronics and energy storage, and to contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions.
