Job SummaryWe are looking for a seasoned Enterprise Solution Architect to lead our technical architecture efforts and provide strategic guidance to our Solution Architects. As a key member of our eCommerce team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with our Enterprise Architecture (EA) guidelines and providing direct support for our product families. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing solution architectures that meet business requirements and align with our overall EA.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the technical management, guidance, and coordination of our Solution Architects.
- Ensure compliance with EA guidelines in the work of the Solution Architects.
- Provide direct support for a product family and align the goals of the product families with architecture patterns.
- Convey architectural best practices to the product families and communicate the value of architecture patterns.
- Develop solution architectures for business requirements by abstracting given business, information, and technology elements and applying these elements to solve specific problems.
- Identify and implement specific solutions that support business strategies and are consistent with the overall EA.
- Propose a combination of building blocks for potential solutions.
- Ensure that design patterns within the product family are correctly applied and documented.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in a technical/IT field, preferably as a Solution Architect.
- Advanced knowledge of IT with a focus on strategic thinking and the ability to present architectural issues and negotiate with stakeholders.
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar degree in a technical field.
- Knowledge of building a scaled agile team.
- Knowledge and experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA).
- Knowledge of microservices and monolithic architectures as well as a combination of these architectures in a living landscape.
- A high level of English and German language skills.
- TOGAF10 certificate.
- BPMN2 certificate.
