Underwriter London Market

We are seeking a highly skilled Underwriter to join our team in Hannover, Germany. As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for designing and pricing individual reinsurance treaties and coverages for our primary insurance customers and brokers in the London Market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Model and price reinsurance treaties and coverages for our customers and brokers
  • Support the treaty portfolio and monitor its systematic development
  • Build and maintain international customer relationships
  • Take responsibility for portfolio management and develop IT-supported tools
  • Contribute to the optimisation of our business processes through project management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a commercial field or comparable qualification
  • Initial experience with a reinsurer, preferably through internships
  • Proficient user skills in German and English, as well as strong communication skills
  • Willingness to go on occasional business trips
  • Self-reliant working style and analytical thinking
